Enter your birthdate → your exact Initial Enrollment Period (the 7-month window around your 65th birthday).
Knowing exactly when each prospect's IEP opens and closes is the whole T65 game. The T65 Pipeline Tracker (Excel + Google Sheets) keeps every birthday and sign-up window in front of you so no lead ages out.
See the T65 toolkit on Etsy →Your IEP is a 7-month window: the 3 months before the month you turn 65, your birthday month, and the 3 months after. Signing up in the 3 months before your birthday month means coverage can start the month you turn 65 — sign up later and coverage can be delayed.
If your birthday is on the 1st of the month, Medicare treats you as turning 65 the previous month, so your whole window shifts one month earlier.
65 for most people. You can first sign up during your Initial Enrollment Period, the 7 months around your 65th birthday.
You can sign up for Part A and/or Part B during the General Enrollment Period, January 1 – March 31 each year, though a late penalty may apply. See the penalty calculator.
If you have qualifying employer coverage you may delay without penalty and use a Special Enrollment Period later. Check the enrollment finder or confirm with Medicare.
