About Medicare Tools

Who builds this site, and how we make sure every 2026 figure is right.

Who builds Medicare Tools

Medicare Tools is built and maintained by TemplateTitanHQ, founded by a former Medicare insurance agent who sold for the major national carriers before building the tools full-time. The project grew out of that hands-on experience — the renewals that slipped, the commissions that came up short, the compliance you had to track by hand, and the hour spent digging through an Evidence of Coverage just to answer one client question. Every calculator and agent toolkit here exists to make that work faster and clearer, built by someone who actually did the job.

What we are — and what we're not. We build tools and reference material. We are not a licensed insurance agency, we do not sell insurance, and nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal, or insurance advice. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by CMS, SSA, the federal Medicare or Marketplace programs, or any insurance carrier. Our job is to get the numbers right and explain them in plain English so you can verify them yourself at the official sources below.

How we verify every figure

Medicare is a Your-Money-Your-Life topic: a wrong number can cost someone real money. So every dollar figure, date, bracket, and rule on this site is checked against a primary government source — never another blog, and never an AI's guess. Our standard:

Our primary sources

These are the official sources we check, and the ones we encourage you to verify against directly:

Medicare.gov
The official U.S. Medicare site — plan rules, coverage, enrollment periods, and the annual cost figures.
CMS.gov (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services)
Sets and publishes the official annual Part A/B premiums, deductibles, the Part D drug-cost cap, and program rules.
SSA.gov (Social Security Administration)
Administers the IRMAA income-related surcharge and the SSA-44 life-changing-event appeal.
IRS.gov
Defines Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI), the figure IRMAA brackets are based on.
Federal Register
The official source for finalized CMS rules (e.g. agent-compensation and marketing regulations).
