Estimate your 2026 Part B amount

Formula: $202.90 × 10% × full 12-month periods. This is full Part B coverage, not immunosuppressive-drug-only coverage. Count only months when you could have enrolled but did not; exclude months Medicare says do not count.

Exceptions and enrollment caveats

Medicare generally waives the Part B penalty when you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period or enroll in a Medicare Savings Program. Coverage based on your or your spouse’s current employment may allow a SEP. The employment-related window generally lasts 8 months after employment or coverage ends, whichever occurs first; COBRA does not extend it. Other special situations require review with SSA / Medicare. This tool does not decide SEP eligibility or derive an official count from your birthday.

SSA / Medicare determine your actual count and bill. The dollar amount can change with future premiums; there is no fixed lifetime dollar total. IRMAA and other adjustments are excluded. For 24 months: 20% × $202.90 = $40.58 unrounded increment; $243.48 combined amount rounds to $243.50 per month.
