• Verify state licensing, annual training and testing before selling Medicare plans.
• Review applicable Medicare marketing rules and contracted plan instructions.
• Review the client’s current ANOC and coverage needs before comparing plans.
• Check the selected plan’s benefits, providers and drug coverage with the plan.
• Track enrollment submission and retain plan confirmation; avoid promises about approval or commissions.
